Job Summary:
Tower Technicians are responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless telecom equipment at various sites, often internationally. Depending on level, the scope includes increasing responsibility for quality, efficiency, leadership, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Tower Technician II Perform all TT I duties with minimal supervision.
Lead basic installations:
antennas, radios, jumpers, grounding, RETs. Mentor TT I team members and assist with integration tasks. Collect closeout documentation and assist TT III as needed.
Requirements :
Must be RF Awareness, CPR/First Aid, OSHA 10 certified. Must have full climbing gear, PPE, and necessary tools (based on level). Minimum 1 year commitment if sponsored under work visa program Willing and able to travel for extended periods (minimum 6 weeks at a time) Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Physical Requirements Able to climb and work at heights on towers, poles, and rooftops (up to 500') Lift and carry at least 70 lbs Capable of performing essential job functions safely and consistently Able to work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, high winds), long shifts, and night work Must pass regular and ongoing drug screenings
Preferred Certifications/Experience:
Comtrain Authorized Climber Rigging (TT II+) Fiber, PIM, Sweep testing (TT III) Familiarity with RFDS/CDs and telecom build standards Experience with multiple carriers (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, etc.)
