Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labor Hand to assist with the excavation and installation of fiber optic infrastructure. This role involves physical outdoor work including trenching, landscaping, and backfilling, while supporting a small, close-knit team of three. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to travel occasionally for projects. Key Responsibilities Assist with trenching and excavation for fiber optic installation. Perform landscaping and site restoration following construction activities. Handle backfill and compaction to ensure safe and clean work areas. Operate hand tools and small equipment under supervision. Support team members in daily tasks to maintain efficiency and safety. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures. Travel to project sites as required (approximately 3 weeks per year). Qualifications Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability to speak and understand English for team communication and safety compliance. Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively in a small team environment. Willingness to perform physical labor outdoors in varying conditions. Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or utility work preferred but not required. Work Environment Small team of 3, emphasizing cooperation and accountability. Outdoor fieldwork with exposure to weather and physical demands. Occasional travel for projects (company covers travel expenses). Benefits Competitive hourly wage. Training provided for fiber optic installation processes. Pay:
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
