Concurrent, LLC, a UniTek Global Services company, is a wireless infrastructure contractor performing construction, upgrade, and maintenance work across the Southeast. Our Sanford, FL, office is currently staffed on an active, multi-market workload spanning Florida and Georgia, including site upgrades, New Site Builds (NSB), and Midcell pole deployments for T-Mobile, as well as a microwave (MW) backhaul project in Georgia. With a strong project pipeline already in place, we're building out our climbing crews now and looking for technicians who want consistent, long-term work rather than a short-term gig. About the Role As a Tower Foreman, you will lead a field crew responsible for the construction, upgrade, and maintenance of wireless communication sites. The Foreman serves as the on-site leader, ensuring safety compliance, quality workmanship, efficient crew performance, and successful project completion. This role requires extensive tower experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, Construction Managers, customers, and subcontractors. Crews travel throughout Florida and Georgia, making this role ideal for individuals who are comfortable with regular travel and overnight stays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Crew Leadership & Project Execution Lead and supervise tower crews on wireless construction, upgrade, maintenance, and deployment projects. Conduct daily job briefings, safety meetings, and work assignments. Ensure crews follow project scopes, schedules, and customer requirements. Mentor, train, and develop Tower Technicians and Lead Technicians. Coordinate daily activities with project management and operations teams. Monitor productivity and ensure efficient utilization of labor, equipment, and materials. Wireless Construction & Installation Climb towers, monopoles, and Midcell structures as necessary to support project execution. Oversee installation, replacement, and commissioning of antennas, RRUs/radios, coax and hybrid cable, fiber, grounding systems, and DC power systems. Support and direct New Site Build (NSB) construction activities, including site development, equipment installation, integration support, and closeout. Oversee installation and alignment of microwave (MW) dishes and microwave backhaul systems. Verify proper torqueing, grounding, weatherproofing, and cable management practices. Perform and review sweep testing, PIM testing (if applicable), and site acceptance documentation. Safety & Compliance Enforce

Awareness, fall protection, and company safety standards with zero tolerance for shortcuts. Ensure all crew members maintain required certifications and safety compliance. Conduct hazard assessments and job site risk evaluations before work begins. Ensure proper PPE usage and safe rigging practices at all times. Stop work when unsafe conditions exist and implement corrective actions. Documentation & Quality Control Review RFDS packages, construction drawings, and scopes of work prior to project execution. Maintain accurate daily reports, redlines, material usage records, and photo documentation. Verify quality standards are met before project closeout. Coordinate punch-list completion and customer acceptance activities. Maintain inventory accountability and ensure proper care of company tools, vehicles, and equipment. Equipment & Vehicle Management Operate and oversee the use of company vehicles, trailers, rigging equipment, and hand/power tools. Ensure equipment inspections and maintenance requirements are completed. Report equipment issues and material shortages promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience 3+ years of wireless telecommunications tower experience preferred. Prior experience as a Lead Technician, Crew Lead, Foreman, or equivalent field leadership role preferred. Experience with carrier upgrades, New Site Builds (NSB), Midcell deployments, and microwave installations strongly preferred. Experience working on T-Mobile projects is a plus. Technical Skills Ability to read and interpret RFDS packages, construction drawings, and scopes of work. Knowledge of antenna and radio installation, fiber optics, grounding, DC power systems, and microwave equipment. Familiarity with testing and commissioning procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to climb towers and work at heights for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 50+ pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind. Driving & Travel Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive long distances and tow equipment when required. Willingness to travel extensively throughout Florida and Georgia, including overnight stays.
