Position:

Civil/Tower Climber As a Civil/Tower Climber with Sphere Electrical, you'll work as part of a skilled team responsible for climbing and maintaining towers that exceed 150 feet. In this role, you'll engage in complex, technical work including installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of tower systems and equipment. We're looking for committed professionals who are safety-oriented, detail-focused, and driven to deliver high-quality work. Primary Responsibilities Climb and work on towers at heights exceeding 150 feet alongside a team of highly trained tower climbers Perform installation, cable runs, and connector work for wireless technology equipment Conduct antenna swaps, alignments, and ensure high-quality installations Execute a variety of technical tests including Sweep, Fiber, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing Ensure all work meets accuracy and quality standards Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth using hand tools and power compactors Upgrade and relocate cabinets and transmission equipment Physical and Safety Requirements Knowledge of OSHA regulations, fall protection, and PPE standards specific to the telecommunications industry Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work for extended periods at heights of 150 feet or more Strong basic mechanical skills with an emphasis on safety and attention to detail Additional Qualifications Proficient in computer use for reporting and data entry Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and with a team Valid driver's license and ability to meet company standards for drug screening and background checks Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach Required or ability to obtain certifications OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Training First Aid and CPR certification What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience and industry-related skills Opportunities for training and certification A supportive team environment focused on safety, growth, and professional excellence Ready to Elevate Your Career?
