Certified Flagger Pay:
$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Primarily Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Schedule may vary based on project needs. Evening, night, and occasional weekend work may be required.)
Location:
Savannah, GA & Surrounding Areas Current Flagger Certification Required Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking a Certified Flagger to join a growing construction team serving Savannah, GA and the surrounding areas. This position is ideal for someone who is safety-conscious, dependable, and comfortable working at a variety of job sites. Because construction projects are located throughout the region, candidates must have reliable transportation and be flexible with reporting to different job sites as assigned. Work schedules may vary depending on the project, and some evening or nighttime work may be required. Requirements of the Certified Flagger Current Flagger Certification is required (must be active and valid) Previous flagging or traffic control experience preferred Knowledge of traffic control procedures and roadway safety practices Ability to communicate clearly with motorists, pedestrians, and construction crews Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday Ability to remain alert and focused in high-traffic work environments Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to various job sites throughout Savannah and surrounding areas Flexible schedule with the ability to work days, evenings, nights, and occasional weekends as needed Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Benefits of the Certified Flagger $20.00 per hour Full-time employment opportunity Opportunity for overtime based on project needs Work with an established construction team on a variety of projects Long-term employment opportunity for dependable candidates Weekly pay Responsibilities of the Certified Flagger Direct traffic safely through construction and work zones Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices, signs, cones, and barricades Communicate effectively with crew members and the public to ensure safe traffic flow Follow all state, local, and company traffic control regulations Monitor work zones for potential safety hazards and report concerns immediately Maintain a safe work environment for motorists, pedestrians, and construction personnel Follow supervisor instructions and adapt to changing project needs Report to various job sites as assigned throughout the Savannah area Shift Information Primarily Monday-Friday Typical hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Schedule may vary based on project requirements Evening, overnight, weekend, and overtime work may be required Job site locations change regularly throughout Savannah and surrounding communities
