Job Description
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Lot Traffic Controller to join our dealership team. This position is essential for ensuring every customer on our lot is helped quickly, professionally, and efficiently. Monitor all activity on the lot to ensure customer needs are met promptly and professionally.
Oversee and coordinate lot rotation, ensuring Sales Consultants move to their designated positions.
Identify and track when Sales Consultants are engaged ("down") with customers, reporting this in real time via radio and text.
Operate camera and tracking systems (including AXIS Camera System and employee tracking software).
Maintain constant surveillance of both primary lot entrances to ensure they are adequately staffed.
Track vehicle and foot traffic, ensuring prompt customer engagement and accurate reporting.
Take snapshot photos and record details of all Sales Consultant/customer interactions.
Record key daily activity, including times, consultant names, vehicles of interest, and customer descriptions.
Submit daily activity reports to Sales Management at shift end. Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent observation and attention to detail.
Ability to work with camera systems and basic web/mobile tools.
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
Previous dealership or customer service experience is a plus. Schedule & Compensation
