Full Job Description Function of Work:
To maintain buildings, equipment and grounds.
Level of Work:
Experienced Supervision Received:
General from foreman or other maintenance supervisory personnel.
Supervision Exercised:
Functional over supporting skilled craftsmen and helpers.
Examples of Work:
Examples below are a brief sample of common duties associated with this job title. Not all possible task are included. Perform general building, equipment, and facility repairs, including basic electrical, carpentry, automotive, and appliance work. Inspect equipment, identify repair needs, and ensure systems and equipment function properly. Operate heavy-duty vehicles and specialized equipment essential to operations. Replace parts, make adjustments, and ensure systems and equipment function properly. Maintain campus grounds, including lawn care, landscaping and safe use of chemical products. Perform custodial and sanitation tasks to keep facilities clean and safe. Interact professionally with the staff and the public while performing duties. Complete additional assignments as directed by supervisors.
Qualification Requirement:
Minimum two years of experience or training in the building construction trades, or building maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or equivalent.
