Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Control Manager and flaggers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction sites by managing traffic flow and providing clear directions to drivers and pedestrians. This position requires a strong understanding of traffic planning and operation and construction site protocols, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and the public. Responsibilities Direct traffic around construction sites to ensure safety for workers and the public. Operate heavy equipment such as TMA and Stake Body Tucks. Collaborate with construction crews to facilitate smooth operations on-site while maintaining safety standards. Monitor site conditions and report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines related to traffic control on construction sites. Maintain clear communication with team members regarding traffic patterns, equipment operation, and site activities. Requirements Proven experience setting up lane closures by the MUTCD Standards. Familiarity with construction site protocols and utility locating practices is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize potential safety hazards. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public. Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety procedures. Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are a plus.
