Certified Flagger

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Certified Flaggers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for directing traffic safely through construction zones and ensuring the safety of workers, pedestrians, and drivers. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions and must be able to stand for long periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Control traffic flow in and around construction zones using signs, hand signals, and flagging paddles Communicate clearly with other flaggers, workers, and motorists Set up and take down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades Ensure safety procedures are followed on site Maintain a professional demeanor while working with the public Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors

Requirements:

Valid flagger certification (state-recognized) Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license Willing and able to travel up to 1 hour to job sites Ability to stand on feet for extended periods (8+ hours) Must be punctual, dependable, and work well under minimal supervision Able to work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as a flagger or in traffic control Basic understanding of construction site safety

$14.00 - $20.00 per hour
