Certified Flagger Lighthouse Technologies USA LLC Las Vegas, NV Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work Flagging for traffic control Flagger Certification Full Job Description Job Summary The Certified Flagger is responsible for safely directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic through active construction and utility work zones. This role plays a critical part in protecting workers, motorists, and the public by following approved traffic control procedures and maintaining a safe, well-organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Direct traffic using approved flagging techniques and equipment Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, barricades, and paddles Follow approved Traffic Control Plans (TCPs) and applicable MUTCD standards Communicate clearly and professionally with motorists, pedestrians, and crew members Monitor traffic flow and work zones for safety hazards Adjust traffic control as needed based on site conditions Assist with lane closures, road openings, and emergency traffic situations Maintain constant situational awareness in active traffic environments Comply with OSHA, DOT, MUTCD, and company safety policies Complete required reports and documentation Required Qualifications Valid Traffic Control Flagger Certification (Required) Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong communication and situational awareness skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Preferred Qualifications Construction, utility, or road work experience Experience working in public rightsofway or hightraffic areas OSHA 10 certification Experience reading and following Traffic Control Plans (TCPs) Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent walking and use of hand/arm signals Ability to work safely near moving traffic Work Environment Outdoor construction and utility job sites Exposure to traffic, noise, dust, and weather conditions Travel between job sites may be required About Lighthouse Technologies USA LLC Our mission is being a trusted, long-term infrastructure service partner for U.S. telecom operators, bringing affordable and reliable connectivity to every home, school, and business in America.
