Road Crew Worker 2845 Home Road, Powell, OH 43065 From $23.80 an hour - Full-time From $23.80 an hour - Full-time Overview Liberty Township is seeking a dedicated and motivated worker on our Road Crew. This position plays a vital role in maintaining more than 110 miles of township roadways and public infrastructure, helping ensure safe travel and a high quality of life for our residents. You will perform a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties related to roadway maintenance, snow and ice control, right-of-way maintenance, equipment operation, and fleet maintenance. Responsibilities include repairing roads, maintaining traffic signs and pavement markings, operating heavy equipment, responding to storm damage and roadway hazards, and assisting with seasonal maintenance activities. You are responsible for maintenance of road right-of-way and greenspaces through mowing, landscaping, tree trimming, debris removal, and general maintenance. During winter weather events, Road Services Workers are essential members of the Township's snow and ice response team, operating plows and other equipment to keep roads safe and passable. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in public service, operates equipment safely and efficiently, is highly motivated, and is willing to perform a variety of tasks as part of a collaborative team environment. Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and front loader trucks. Understanding of and proactive approach to safety protocols. Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, lift heavy materials, and operate machinery safely.
