Highway Worker 1 (Laborer, Traffic Control)

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience preferred Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background and drug screen. Flags traffic in and around county road work sites. Directs traffic through work zones while road maintenance work is performed. Sets up traffic control for work zones. Cleans and washes vehicles and equipment. Patches potholes. Assists with tree & brush removal. Performs other labor tasks involved in road and bridge repairs and maintenance. Utilizes hand and power tools, and light motorized equipment, with proper training, to perform road and bridge repairs. Completes basic work records.
