Nestled in the scenic mountains near Michaux State Forest, South Mountain Restoration Center is a skilled nursing home facility that provides long-term care and is operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a part of our maintenance team, you will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades, with a primary focus on plumbing to help ensure the facility remains safe and fully functional. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing various equipment and machinery within the facility and on its grounds. You will repair and paint doors and furniture, as well as complete interior and exterior building painting projects. In addition, you will operate a truck to transport people, equipment, and supplies and assist with grounds maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal. This role requires making routine, independent decisions based on established SMRC policies and guidelines, as well as your training, job knowledge, and experience. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your work schedule may change based on operational needs.Overtime:

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.Special Requirement:
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.Other Requirements:
