JOB SUMMARY

Directs vehicle and pedestrian traffic around construction sites, road maintenance, and utility zones. Their primary objective is to protect workers and the traveling public while maintaining a safe traffic flow.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct traffic to ensure the safety of pedestrians, motorists, and construction workers Set up and maintain work zones, including signs, cones, and barricades Communicate with coworkers and drivers using hand signals or two-way radios Monitor traffic flow and adjust traffic control devices as needed Report any issues or incidents to supervisors or law enforcement personnel Follow all applicable traffic control regulations and company safety policies

REQUIREMENTS

Must have flagger certification Must be able to go to multiple job sites Safely direct traffic and set up traffic signs Pole, paddle, and radio is a plus
