Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Lineman with a minimum of five years of bucket truck and distribution experience to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, retiring, maintaining, and repairing overhead powerlines within utility electrical networks. A strong commitment to safety procedures for high-voltage work and personal protective equipment (PPE) use is essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment. Pay Depends on Experience and Licenses Duties Operate bucket trucks safely to access overhead line systems for installation, maintenance, and repair activities Perform high-voltage electrical wiring, relay testing, and electrical field testing on utility systems Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters. Read electrical schematics accurately to guide construction and maintenance tasks Engage in power line construction projects including climbing poles, rigging, and tree trimming as needed Follow strict safety procedures for high-voltage work, including PPE use, climbing techniques, and outdoor work protocols Requirements Minimum of five years' experience as a bucket/distribution lineman with a proven track record in power line construction projects Extensive knowledge of overhead line systems, utility electrical systems, and relay testing procedures Demonstrated experience working with high-voltage electrical wiring and low voltage systems in outdoor environments Strong understanding of RUS Specs.(Rural Utilities Service) Ability to operate bucket trucks safely while adhering to all safety protocols for climbing and outdoor work environments Experience working in the energy & utilities sector with a focus on power distribution systems and field service operations Join our team if you're ready to bring your expertise in high-voltage electrical systems into a challenging yet rewarding environment.
