POWER SPACE LINEMAN
- Nights 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars A Telecommunications Journeyman/Power Space Lineman is responsible for navigating the placement of fiber optic cable within Power Space. Strong work tenure as a Class 1/Journeyman Lineman, municipality experience preferred OSHA 30 Certification Expert knowledge of 1910.269 Standard Excellent communication skills Good time management skills Proficient knowledge in operation of Aerial Lifts Must be available to work nights/overnight Ability to work a variable schedule, to include on-call rotation, days/nights and weekends as needed Who we are Established in August of 2000, Phoenix Communications has grown to become the Northeast's leading provider of fiber optic construction services to the telecommunications industry and municipalities throughout the northeastern United States. What we expect Job Description A Telecommunications Journeyman/Power Space Lineman is responsible for navigating the placement of fiber optic cable within Power Space. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Promoting safety consciousness and adherence to OSHA, MAD, utility, federal, state and local safety requirements Installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead and underground fiber optic cable within the power space Communicating with customers to address customer concerns in a professional manner What we offer Your benefits will include a competitive compensation plan and paid time off benefit.
