Apprentice Telecom Lineman - Fiber Installation

Responsibilities Work is located southern New Hampshire, Boston surroundings and Worcester North. Asist Aerial Lineman Drive Bucket Truck with Reel Trailer Pull fiber optic cable Drive company vehicles safely Safely use hand tools and equipment such as; wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more. Load lashing equipment Set up safety signs, cones and other safety equipment Be comfortable with working in all weather types.

Safety oriented:

able to set work zones up properly, use PPE, follow safe work practices, policies and procedures set for by our company

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old 1-3 Years experience lashing fiber. Ability to complete various types of pole transfers. Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check, drug test, and DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry. A valid, unrestricted driver's license (Commercial driver's license preferred but Able to learn names and use of multiple construction parts and equipment. Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas Ability to work in all weather conditions Must have a valid driver's license Must be authorized to work in the United States '
