Job Description
ElectriCom, a leader since 1960 in independent utility construction, is seeking a skilled Aerial Lineman to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of utility infrastructures including power supply and telecommunication lines. As an Aerial Lineman, you will work on aerial cable installations and perform maintenance on existing infrastructure, playing a key role in ElectriCom's mission to deliver high-quality utility solutions across diverse landscapes. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair overhead telecommunication and electrical power lines. Ensure all electrical equipment meets industry standards and safety regulations. Operate specialized construction equipment, including bucket trucks and aerial lifts. Assess job site conditions and generate reports on work progress. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to interpret maps, site plans, and blueprints. Follow strict safety procedures and participate in safety meetings. Required Skills Proficient in using lineman tools and electrical equipment. Strong understanding of electrical systems and telecommunications infrastructure. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Excellent physical condition and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
