Full Job Description Education Requirement:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Experience Requirement:
Read and interpret engineered drawings
Skills and Abilities:
Perform duties satisfactorily
Language Requirement:
Read, speak, and understand English Licenses or Cert ifications: Driver's License (CDL Preferred)
Physical Requirement:
Sitting, standing, hand dexterity, speaking, vision and hearing.
Mental Requirement:
Ability to follow procedures in an organized fashion

DUTIES/TASKS
Punches in on time and is available for work at the beginning of each workday. Operates Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner. Load truck and trailer with proper cable and fiber each day. Procure and organize material such as lashing wire, bolts, straps, etc. Organize and maintain tools and equipment. Operate truck while lineman works bucket. (CDL License required.) Assist lineman and look for obstructions and low power lines. Complete all required company job paperwork on time. Install new cable or fiber and remove old material from job site and from truck, store in proper location. Keep track of prints and job details. Is neatly groomed and wears company uniform. Notifies supervisor of any unsafe equipment or working conditions. Attends safety meetings as required. Manages set up and breakdown of work zone. Receives an annual performance evaluation of satisfactory or better or a plan is in place to achieve that result. Follows company, customer and OSHA Safety rules and regulations while in field. Performs any other duty or assignment as may be assigned, from time to time, by the Supervisor. Understands project deadlines and prepares to work in outside weather conditions as necessary.
