Job Summary:
As an Aerial Lineman, you will support aerial telecommunications construction projects by performing pole transfers, strand placement, fiber installation, and related infrastructure work while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform simple and complex pole transfers (Make Ready). Place strand, including guys, bonds, and grounds. Jig fiber/coax and lash or overlash fiber/coax over existing infrastructure. Identify and install correct fiber storage loops. Perform traffic control and maintain safe work zones. Reconcile issued parts and materials daily. Document and validate as-builts for new builds and plant modifications. Complete daily work orders and crew checks. Read and understand schematics and construction prints. Work assigned shifts, including overtime when needed.
Requirements:
Qualifications Pole climbing experience preferred. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to climb, bend, crawl, lift, and stand for extended periods. Strong communication skills. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred. Ability to pass drug screening and background check. Authorized to work in the United States.
