Full Job Description Description:
Role Summary The Traveling Technician I is an entry-level field position responsible for supporting wind turbine blade processing and recycling operations at job sites across the country. Working under the direct supervision of a Technician II or Site Superintendent, this role focuses on ground-level operations including material handling, equipment assistance, and site support while developing the foundational skills needed to advance within the company. Key Responsibilities Assist with cutting and processing wind turbine blades using hand tools and power tools under direct supervision Handle, sort, and stage processed fiberglass materials safely using proper PPE and dust control measures Assist in operating forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment as directed and when certified to do so Support site mobilization and demobilization, including equipment staging, setup, and breakdown Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment throughout the shift Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all OSHA standards and company SOPs Complete daily production logs, safety checklists, and required field documentation Travel to assigned sites; lodging and per diem provided
Requirements:
Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn in a hands-on industrial environment Strong safety mindset — you follow the rules and speak up when something isn't right Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and sustain physically demanding work Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Willingness to travel extensively with 2-4 week site rotations
