Job Description

A leading company in the oil & gas industry is seeking a Hydraulic Mechanical Technician to support the maintenance, testing, and optimization of hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician with a strong mechanical background and experience in hydraulic systems. Working collaboratively, the new hire will ensure system reliability by performing troubleshooting and repairs while supporting testing, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Salary:
$32-35/hr +

Type of Position:
Temp-to-Hire Schedule :
Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on hydraulic system failures, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining hydraulic systems that ensure optimal performance and reliability across our diverse range of projects. Leverage your deep expertise in hydraulic principles to drive innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. Conduct thorough analyses and simulations to optimize hydraulic system performance, including flow rates, pressure drops, and energy efficiency. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and work instructions. Operate hydraulic test stands. Hydrostatic and Nitrogen Pressure Retaining Integrity Testing. Show enthusiasm for learning new skills. Assist other team members with tasks as required.
Requirements:
High School Diploma Relevant mechanical qualification is preferred but experience will be taken into consideration Previous experience in hydraulic operations A mechanical background with demonstrable workshop experience is essential An effective communicator Ability to work well in team and to take own initiative Commitment to continual improvement and a flexible approach to change Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering HSEQ excellence This role requires travel to the UK for approximately two weeks for training.
