In person About the Role DayDreamer Domes is seeking a handyperson to keep our property, domes, and event spaces safe, functional, and guest-ready. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, problem-solving, and working outdoors. You'll assist with daily upkeep, repairs, event setup, seasonal grounds work, and operational projects across the resort. Basic understanding of electrical and carpentry is essential for this role. This is an active, outdoor position in a hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Support operational tasks Perform general property upkeep and site cleaning Complete painting, patching, and light repair projects Assist with dome resets and property preparation between guest stays Handle landscaping touch-ups, weed whacking, and seasonal grounds maintenance Perform snow removal during winter months Drive and operate an off-road utility cart Assist with running sound, power lines, and infrastructure for events Move, assemble, and stage furniture and equipment Ensure all areas remain safe, functional, and aligned with presentation standards Qualifications Basic maintenance and repair knowledge Comfortable using tools and equipment safely Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds regularly Comfortable working outdoors in all Michigan weather conditions Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Strong work ethic and team-first mindset Ability to take direction and work independently Experience in hospitality maintenance, landscaping, event setup, or property management is preferred but not required.
