Job Description
Position Overview Butterworth Industries is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to lead and coordinate all maintenance activities within our 24/7 manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting efficient production across multiple shifts. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team across all shifts Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of production equipment, including sewing machines, automated cutters, and facility systems Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs Maintain equipment records, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory Collaborate with production leadership to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment efficiency and reliability Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment Qualifications 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with industrial sewing equipment, automated cutting systems, or similar machinery is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment Strong organizational and communication skills What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, family-owned company with long-term growth Opportunity to lead and make a direct impact on operations Full-time position with benefits About Butterworth Industries Butterworth Industries is a third-generation, family-owned manufacturer specializing in protective covers for robotic and automated systems.
