Position Summary:
We are seeking a well-rounded individual who can perform maintenance duties on a variety of industrial equipment. The maintenance technician will work independently at times and as a team to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. They will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness . Safety First- Demonstrate safe work practices in accordance with all compliance and regulatory requirements including Life Safety Elements and hold others accountable to do the same.
Essential functions:
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in- -Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain plant cranes, hoists, and lifting devices
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Identify and resolve problems before they become costly
- Knowledge and utilization of lean manufacturing.
- Basic computer skills, performing basic tasks in maintenance software (CMMS).
- Required to maintain plant safety and housekeeping.
- Perform basic trouble shooting of hydraulic systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate with maintenance staff and others.
- Work in a fast pace environment with changing priorities.
- Must be able to understand and complete work assignments.
- Welding, fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, and machining skills.
- Available for on-calls for down equipment, snow removal, or any other urgent plant items.
- Other duties as necessary.

English Qualifications:
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in- -High school diploma/GED and must hold a certificate or diploma,
- Willing to work overtime, Saturday & Sunday if necessary, must have a flexible schedule.
- Strong critical thinking and creative skills
- Desire & ability to continuously learn & apply new knowledge/skills
- Values teamwork & skills necessary to be an effective team member
- Previous maintenance or manufacturing experience
- Hands on experience in a maintenance or mechanical capacity
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools & techniques.
- Passion for quality workmanship
- Passion for Safety
