Job Description

Overview The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner. Responsibilities Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Dietary, Nursing, Activities, etc.) Assist the Infection Control Coordinator in identifying, evaluating, and classifying routine and job related maintenance functions to ensure that tasks involving the potential exposure to blood/body fluids are properly identified and recorded Supervise the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of electrical systems—including low voltage and high voltage equipment—using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as necessary or as may be directed. Oversee industrial maintenance activities involving mechanical systems such as HVAC units, conveyors, pumps, motors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular inspections of facilities and equipment; promote a safety-first culture among team members. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, asset histories, schematics, and compliance documentation to support audits and regulatory requirements. Experience Proven management experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance environments with a strong supervisory background. Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from planning through execution within manufacturing or industrial facilities. Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and regulations; committed to fostering a safe working environment. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of clearly articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
