Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Job Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer at our location in Overland Park, KS. The position requires availability for the day shift from 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with some potential overtime and occasional coverage for different shifts or vacations. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and executing maintenance and repair tasks. The role also includes performing industrial activities to ensure the optimal operation of all equipment and systems, as well as keeping the facilities for our two buildings operational. Responsibilities Perform equipment maintenance and repair tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability. Execute maintenance and repair tasks to maintain operational efficiency. Perform industrial activities to ensure optimal operation of equipment and systems. Maintain the facilities for two buildings to ensure they remain operational. Essential Skills Proficiency in equipment maintenance and industrial maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Experience in preventive maintenance activities. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Relevant technical certifications or degree is a plus. Forklift certification or experience is advantageous. Experience in the printing industry is a plus. Work Environment Work in a printing press shop environment that is climate-controlled, organized, and laid-back. The shift offers flexibility with a start time between 6am and 8am, consisting of 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
