1st Shift Sunday to Wednesday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm 1st Shift Thursday to Sunday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Starting Pay Range:

$20.15 - $28.80 /hr SUMMARY Inspects, oils, and greases moving parts of friction surfaces of mechanical equipment such as shaft and motor bearings, sprockets, drive chains, gears, and pulleys by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Fills container such as oilcan, grease gun, or tank of lubrication truck with specified lubricant. Squirts or pours oil on moving parts and friction surfaces, or into holes, oil cups, or reservoirs. Turns oil cup valves to regulate flow of oil to moving parts. Forces grease into bearings with grease gun, smears grease on friction surfaces, or packs grease cups by hand. Fills wells and sumps of lubricating systems with oil. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor. Cleans machines, sweep floors, and transport stock. Documents of inspections for predictive maintenance scheduling.

Maintain an updated forklift drivers license (renewable every 3 years).

Shift Schedule:

1st Shift Sunday to Wednesday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm 1st Shift Thursday to Sunday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm •Sunday is a planned downtime primarily for maintenance, housekeeping and training. Shifts are subject to periodic rotation every 8 weeks. Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
