Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our real estate management team. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining commercial buildings, handling a variety of repair and upkeep tasks, and ensuring properties remain safe, functional, and well-presented. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and provide excellent service to property managers and tenants.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine commercial building maintenance and non-structural repairs Handle light plumbing tasks (unclogging drains, replacing faucets, fixing leaks) Perform basic electrical tasks (changing outlets, light fixtures, switches) General carpentry: door repairs, drywall patching, shelving, furniture assembly Painting and touch-ups in office and common areas Conduct preventive maintenance such as filter changes, fixture inspections, and minor equipment upkeep Ensure all tasks comply with safety standards and company policies Maintain accurate records of work completed and report updates to management Respond promptly to tenant service requests

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or similar role in commercial settings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting best practices Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and follow maintenance instructions or manuals Good communication skills and customer service mindset Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed Licensed trade work will be handled by appropriately licensed professionals where required by law
