Job Description

What you'll do The primary purpose of the Maintenance Lead position is to assist the Director of Environmental Services by coordinating and participating in the operations of the Maintenance Department. Perform maintenance tasks to assure the safety of the residents, employees, and visitors on the premises. Tasks include but are not limited to disposal of wastes, removal of snow, ice and sand from the parking lots, sidewalks, and entrance ways, maintenance of electrical, mechanical and plumbing fixtures. Responsible for collecting and disposing of all rubbish; repair windows, doors, floors, walls and ceilings as needed; install metal studs and sheetrock; painting of interior walls and exterior as needed. All other maintenance and housekeeping tasks as assigned by Director of Environmental Services Make written or oral reports or recommendations to the Director of Environmental Services concerning the operation of the Maintenance Department including input for staff evaluations and disciplinary actions Perform administrative duties to complete necessary forms and reports to keep track of repairs and preventative maintenance performed on VHS equipment Coordinates department workload, i.e., repair requisitions, preventative maintenance, tools and supplies required for specific repairs, etc.; preparing housekeepers and laundry work schedules in the absence of the Director of Environmental Services (or assisting the Housekeeping Coordinator). Supervises Maintenance Worker's performance of daily job tasks; prioritize all daily work requisitions and monitor completion of tasks Position requires being "on call" as scheduled to provide maintenance coverage to building. Position may also require extended hours or odd hours to facilitate handling emergencies and critical repairs as they occur Position requires being able to work with all disciplines, staff, residents, visitors and resident's family members under all conditions and circumstances Operate and perform routine maintenance on VHS vehicles to include driving for ADHC as needed or assigned Must maintain a driver license in good standing and notify Supervisor immediately of any moving violations or suspension or revoked license Oversees vehicle transportation distribution for scheduled use Assist in construction and repair of all building and grounds related equipment Answer all Maintenance calls pages for support in other departments Clean area and tools upon job completion Complete job sheets and check sheets. Return to DES daily Complete any job tasks assigned by DES Attend all required in-services and follow all department and facility policies including use of personal protective equipment Maintain

Pay Range Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. Pay Range Minimum:
USD $21.96/Hr.
Pay Range Maximum:
USD $32.95/Hr.
