Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team at our Duratech plant in Redford, MI . This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the maintenance department, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, and driving continuous improvement across the facility. This is a first shift, full-time salaried position offering a pay range of $75,000-$90,000 , depending on experience. Join a growing team backed by American Roller Company Formerly Duratech, a new division of American Roller Company, we are expanding and looking for a Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all maintenance operations for the A-Korn facility, ensuring machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. Supervise and schedule daily tasks for the maintenance staff, supporting a positive and productive work environment. Administer the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program, including assessing equipment, developing standardized PM work orders, and implementing reliability improvements. Drive and support the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program through cross-functional collaboration, training, and performance tracking. Conduct root cause analysis to resolve equipment failures and quality issues; implement corrective actions to improve long-term performance. Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to improve processes, reduce downtime, and increase overall efficiency. Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Support capital projects and lead efforts on new equipment installation, upgrades, and facility improvements. Travel as needed to support maintenance and capital improvement initiatives at other company facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Facility or Industrial Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). Proven experience managing a maintenance department and leading teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance , TPM , and continuous improvement practices. Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in problem-solving and analytical thinking ; skilled in conducting root cause investigations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. Working knowledge of safety standards , industrial regulations, and environmental monitoring systems. Since 1938, American Roller Company has been the leader in industrial rollers and coatings.
