The Shop Manager will conduct regular inventory cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure accuracy and accountability. Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing equipment and materials is essential. In addition, the Shop Manager will supervise, train, and mentor warehouse and shop staff while promoting teamwork, accountability, and adherence to company procedures.
The ideal candidate will ensure all equipment is assembled correctly, fully tested, and meets company quality standards before deployment. They will also coordinate shipping, receiving, and delivery schedules with the owner and work closely with commercial drivers, installation teams, and project managers to meet project deadlines and customer delivery expectations.
Required QualificationsApplicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least 35 years of experience in warehouse operations, shop management, or operations leadership. Experience working with audio equipment, electronics, or technical equipment handling is strongly preferred.
Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership and team management abilities with the capability to supervise staff, delegate responsibilities, and maintain a productive work environment. Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer skills is required to accurately track equipment, materials, and shipping documentation.
This role requires the ability to lift and move equipment weighing 50 pounds or more and work in a physically active environment that includes standing, walking, bending, and equipment handling throughout the day.
