1st Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm Job Description The Maintenance Mechanic installs, repairs, and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing plant. This role focuses on gearboxes on extruder equipment, PLC troubleshooting industrial machinery, performing periodic preventive maintenance, and supporting building maintenance as needed to keep production running safely and efficiently. Essential Skills 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience performing repairs and troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery. Strong experience working with gearboxes and extruder equipment. Hands-on electrical maintenance experience, including troubleshooting PLCs and changing fuses. Ability to perform PLC electrical troubleshooting with practical knowledge of control systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial equipment and identifying mechanical and electrical faults. Ability to read a tape measure accurately and cut metal and other materials to precise specifications. Ownership of a personal toolbox with the tools needed to perform daily maintenance tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with extruder equipment in a manufacturing or plastics environment is a +. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and best practices. Comfort working with semi-finished thermoplastic extrusion processes. Certification or training related to industrial maintenance, PLCs, or electrical systems is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boothwyn, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
