Job Summary The Engineering Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing the installation, performance, troubleshooting, and maintenance of VFFS and HFFS production machinery. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that involves frequent travel to customer sites to service, repair, and upgrade advanced packaging equipment. This position combines mechanical and electrical expertise with strong customer collaboration, allowing you to make a direct impact by keeping operations running at peak performance. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer locations to provide technical support and on-site service Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled service on VFFS and HFFS machinery Thoroughly clean machines and machine components, including disassembly and reinstallation as required Oil and lubricate moving parts to ensure optimal performance Install replacement and upgraded components Diagnosing and identifying causes of unexpected machine breakdowns Repair equipment efficiently to minimize downtime Prepare and organize detailed service reports documenting work performed Maintain shop areas, tools, parts, and supplies by cleaning, organizing, inventorying, and restocking as needed Collaborate with customers during service visits to recommend repairs, improvements, or upgrades Implement machine modifications and conduct test runs Confer with product management regarding test results and make additional adjustments as required Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with packaging equipment, and working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
