Maintenance Mechanic / Lead Maintenance Ayer Housing Authority - Full-Time (40 hours/week) The Ayer Housing Authority is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic/Lead Maintenance position. This role performs a wide range of interior and exterior property, maintenance, including minor electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, grounds work, snow and ice removal, and custodial duties.

Qualifications:

Experience maintaining public housing or private rental property Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating schedule Strong self‑motivation and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Professional communication skills and ability to work with staff and a diverse resident population Valid Massachusetts driver's license Ability to pass a physical exam (including drug/alcohol screening) Successful completion of a CORI background check

Compensation & Benefits:
