Maintenance Person Full time M-F 8a-4p

This is a Full-time maintenance position Monday through Friday. Full time is 35 to 40 hours and Pay is $24 to $26 an hour depending upon experience. You could work 7-3 or 8-4 or 9-5. You would need to pass a criminal offender check. Riverbrook is seeking a mature, dependable, responsible, energetic and kind individual to maintain our historic Berkshire Cottage.

YOU MUST HAVE MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general facility repairs, grounds keeping, vehicle services such as taking them in for repairs, oil changes, inspection stickers, shovel walkways in winter, and pool maintenance. Minimal Requirements:

Good organizational and planning skills Basic home repair Basic lawn maintenance knowledge Kind, calm, caring manner Valid drivers license & dependable vehicle Riverbrook is the oldest home for women with developmental disabilities in New England. It is located in a Stockbridge mansion on beautiful grounds and there is a cottage behind the mansion. We have an inground saltwater heated pool, a gazebo, and a community garden. We have a fleet of six vehicles to transport the residents to classes and outings. The vehicles would need to be taken to a local garage for oil changes, repairs, and inspection stickers as needed. Repairs and upkeep of the house would be needed as necessary. The lawn would need to be mowed and the grounds kept neat at all times. We have all the necessary equipment. We have the driveway plowed in the winter but you would have to shovel and sand walkways and steps. The pool would need to be maintained during the Summer with chemicals provided and cleaned as needed. Should the generator, air conditioner, furnace, etc need servicing, you would show the technicians where they are and let administration know the outcomes. You would need to pass a criminal offender registry check. Staff and residents must be treated with kindness at all times but you must stay on track with your work.
