Essential Functions Provide services required for timely maintenance and economical repair of all plant equipment. Plan, estimate, and schedule all plant maintenance work. Manage, monitor, and analyze computerized maintenance management system (MAXIMO). Review, write, approve completed and closes work orders. Maintain equipment service records, downtime, and repair records. Identify safety needs, staffing needs, materials, and special equipment or tools to execute maintenance work. Responsible for maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling, predictive maintenance, and maintenance record keeping. Coordinate all maintenance shutdown activities and maintenance/engineering-related contractors. Schedule daily, weekly, and maintenance shutdowns in coordination with operations. Familiar with all equipment, its operating function and repair needs, and maintains its records for future reference. Develop and use standards and data for estimating planned work and compares to actual time/cost for effective utilization of resources. Determine root cause of unscheduled downtime and make recommendations to minimize or reduce downtime. Review and recommend substitute materials and/or procedures. Perform tasks required to update prints, procedures, planning packages, and/or preventive maintenance plans. Monitor new equipment needs, modifications, and support spare parts to insure reliable, productive use of equipment. Capable of working with others at all levels of the organization. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
