Job Title:
Maintenance Planner Job Description We are seeking a diligent Maintenance Planner to manage and enhance our maintenance activities. In this role, you will be responsible for entering parts and descriptions into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), developing comprehensive job plans, and scheduling weekly work plans to align with production availability and priorities. Responsibilities Utilize CMMS for preventive maintenance scheduling, work order generation, and equipment management. Efficiently plan, schedule, and track all proactive maintenance activities. Manage work order priorities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Implement and manage preventive maintenance plans to enhance production asset reliability. Collaborate with the Parts Room Coordinator to manage spare parts inventory levels. Facilitate Planning/Scheduling meetings in conjunction with weekly Engineering Meetings. Coordinate equipment availability for work order schedules using Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) and Predictive Maintenance plans. Monitor and track Planning/Scheduling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the plant. Evaluate PM Ontime effectiveness and PM Schedule Adherence. Identify and develop Predictive Maintenance techniques to improve equipment reliability. Essential Skills Strong technical skills with previous experience in maintenance planning. Proficient in operating computer systems and interfacing programs for production data analysis. Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software applications. Capability to create comprehensive reports and document procedures. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Effective problem-solving abilities with a good understanding of engineering principles and safety regulations. Familiarity with preventative maintenance strategies. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong team player capable of working collaboratively in a global team environment. Experience with ERP systems and maintenance planning software. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sugar Notch, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
