Job Description
Key Accountabilities Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Activities Basic field investigation. Develop bill of materials, scope of work, special installation instructions and time schedule (with manpower requirements). Solicit information from vendors and contractors for parts, equipment and prefabrications. Allocate and requisition parts, tools, materials and equipment and verify delivery relative to scheduled installation. Assemble "job boxes" that include all necessary parts, materials and special tools necessary to execute planned mechanical or electrical work orders. Job box assemblies will range from small scale work orders to projects. Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Maintain safe working conditions and practices to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record. Perform work duties in accordance with QSHE and JTA (job task analysis) procedures; ensure consultants and contractors also comply. Utilize external resources including vendors, engineering consultants and contractors for information and means of execution for various aspects of the preparation process. Logistics Management Generate maintenance planning schedules, reports detailing cost by plant area, reports detailing preventive versus corrective work, and other schedules, reports, as requested. Attend scheduling meetings and generate project schedules for medium to large scale maintenance outages incorporating multiple craft types. SAP data and order entry SAP data entry including: inputting of documents, including timelines, inputting maintenance time and closing work orders. Generate SAP work orders and planned orders from information supplied via paper "work order initiation forms", Cimplicity work order information, etc. Retrieve completed work orders and input the information into SAP; reconcile parts and materials used on work orders with warehouse inventory lists, and craftsmen. Close work orders in the SAP system after verification that all parts, labor and materials have been charged to the job. Computer literacy and familiarity with SAP preferred.
Strong communication skills including reading, comprehension, and listening, written and oral communications.

Fundamental knowledge of industrial mechanical, process and electrical equipment including, but not limited to, the following: piping, materials selection, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and power distribution.
