Clorox:
The Maintenance Purchaser will support daily procurement and inventory management activities within the Maintenance Department. This role is responsible for executing key purchasing processes, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and collaborating with vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment. The successful candidate will demonstrate precision, initiative, and adaptability in a dynamic supply chain environment. In this role, you will: 1. Conduct daily MRP and ZPL purchasing as business needs arise. 2. Perform daily My Buy procurement tasks to address operational requirements. 3. Manage Keepstock purchase orders and inventory, serving as a primary liaison with vendors. 4. Create and complete cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and process improvement. 5. Receive purchase orders and verify shipments as needed to support ongoing operations. 6. Monitor, track, and follow up on purchase orders, especially when arrival dates are missed or expedited timelines are necessary. 7. Communicate with vendors to resolve issues, expedite orders, and maintain partnerships. 8. Process system corrections to uphold data integrity. 9. Track monthly accruals related to purchasing and inventory management. 10. Generate SAP reports as needed, including Open POs, Slow Moving Inventory, and related operational metrics. Starting pay rate is $29.07 What we look for:
  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency with SAP and other relevant business systems.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Must have the ability to drive and operate a forklift.
