NODC is a residential facility located in Northwest Ohio. We support individuals with developmental disabilities. We have a large rural campus which provides opportunities for our residents to be active in addition to being part of our community. Our direct care staff and nurses provide 24/7 care to the individuals who call NODC home. We focus on support and stabilization so our individuals can integrate into an environment that best meets their wants and needs. About the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities•
Northwest Developmental Center:
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is a trauma informed care agency. We offer a state-wide system of supportive services that focus on ensuring health and safety, supporting access to community participation and increasing opportunities for meaningful employment. Northwest Ohio Developmental Center is located in the northwest region of Ohio and is home to both adults and youth with developmental disabilities. What you will do as a Maintenance Repair Worker 2: The Maintenance Department plays a key role in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. We have residential buildings, various support buildings and outdoor spaces.
Example duties include:

Qualifications Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary; 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in maintenance repair work (e.g., basic electricity, plumbing, carpentry, masonry repair & use of associated hand & power tools & equipment); in accordance with section 124.11 (B) (2) of revised code, Director Of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.
