In this position, you will support the daily function and long term care of Laurel Caverns State Park through skilled repair, upkeep, and facility improvement. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties:Equipment Operation:
Operate light and heavy equipment safely and keep accurate maintenance logs and reportsMechanical Work:
Perform routine and advanced repairs on park vehicles, tractors, mowers, and small enginesElectrical Tasks:
Install and repair outlets, lighting, heaters, fans, and electrical service in park buildingsPlumbing Duties:
Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, water lines, and related systems, including winter preparationCarpentry Skills:
Use power tools to build, repair, or renovate park structures such as roofs, doors, windows, and floorsMasonry Work:
Construct and repair concrete structures, walkways, walls, and foundations using proper tools and techniquesLandscaping Task:
Repair, renovate, and maintain turf areas, roads, and trails, prune trees and hedges, cut grass using mowers or lawn tractors, and remove snow using basic snow removal equipment Interested in learning more? Full-time employment Typical work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. Shifts and hours will vary including weekends and holidays. Will work 5 of 7 days per week.Telework:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.Special Requirement:
This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.Other Requirements:
