Maintenance Specialist Job Description:

The Brook Retirement Communities is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for a motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and comfortable environments for our residents.

Holiday Pay Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple properties Address work orders in a timely and professional manner Maintain building systems, including plumbing, heating, and basic electrical components Assist with carpentry, groundskeeping, and general upkeep Ensure all facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained Interact positively with residents, staff, and visitors

Travel Requirements:

This position requires reliable transportation and travel between three locations with a designated schedule each day for each location (to be discussed with hiring manager):

Basic knowledge of plumbing, heating, carpentry, and groundskeeping Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude when working with the public Ability to understand and work effectively with older adults Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations Must be 18 years of age or older Must be able to pass a criminal background check
