Maintenance Staff

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of mechanical and electrical issues. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and supporting the overall safety and functionality of our environment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions across various systems, including HVAC, electrical panels, and machinery. Conduct welding tasks and residential painting as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and safety standards. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory levels. Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during repair projects, ensuring quality work and adherence to safety protocols. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance activities. Support manufacturing or facility operations by maintaining essential equipment and infrastructure. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a focus on mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems. Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for aesthetic repairs or renovations. Electrical experience with troubleshooting circuits, panels, and control systems is essential. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and management. Supervising experience is preferred to oversee maintenance projects or junior staff members. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to maintenance planning and problem-solving.
