Seasonal (Fixed Term) (Seasonal)The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for general maintenance and compliance with all rules and regulations within the production area and retail store. Starting Rate:

Schedule:
7am to 4pm Monday though Friday Your role in achieving results: Provide general and preventative maintenance within production plant, retail store and warehouse as needed. Operate forklift as needed. Perform perimeter checks as scheduled. Provide transportation of parts as needed. Perform grounds maintenance on property as needed (snow removal, lawn care, garbage removal). Complete daily testing of water softeners, boilers, utility chemicals, air compressors, etc. Work on audit sheets and miscellaneous tasks requested from supervisors/managers. Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. Safety Protocol Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. What we are looking for to deliver these results: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Communicate well both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to apply logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines. Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation. Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently. Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.
