• Part-time, Full-time Position Overview Holiday Inn Express Locust Grove is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Supervisor to lead the property's maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and capable of overseeing the overall condition of the hotel while ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and equipment remain in excellent working order. This position requires both leadership and technical skills. The Maintenance Supervisor will perform repairs, coordinate preventive maintenance, manage work orders, and assist in maintaining brand standards throughout the property. Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Maintenance Oversee the daily maintenance operations of the hotel Perform preventive maintenance throughout guest rooms and public areas Troubleshoot and repair PTAC heating and cooling units Complete drywall repairs, painting, grouting, caulking, and tile repairs Repair door hinges, locks, closers, and other hardware Address plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues Monitor the condition of hotel equipment and building systems Team Leadership Assign, prioritize, and monitor maintenance tasks Train and support maintenance staff Ensure maintenance requests are completed promptly and professionally Work closely with housekeeping and front desk departments to address guest concerns Work Order & Compliance Management Manage and track maintenance requests using the Quore application Maintain accurate maintenance records and preventive maintenance schedules Utilize Excel spreadsheets to track projects, inventory, and completed work Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards and brand requirements Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience required Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of PTAC systems Experience with drywall repair, painting, grouting, door hardware, and general building maintenance Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems Experience using maintenance management software such as Quore Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders and work in various weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Paid vacation and holiday benefits (if applicable) Professional growth opportunities Supportive management team Opportunity to grow within the IHG brand
