Position Location St. Simons Island, GA Remote Type Onsite Job Description Maintenance Technician•Home2 Suites Ridgeland, MS Home2 Suites by Hilton Jackson/Ridgeland is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As part of the MMI Hotel Group a leader with over 70 years of hospitality excellence we are committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the hotel. Your efforts will ensure our guests enjoy a seamless and memorable stay. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property Complete preventative maintenance to support facility upkeep and equipment performance Safely operate hand tools and power tools Read and interpret work orders and specifications accurately Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and guest safety Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment Collaborate with team members to prioritize and respond to maintenance needs Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Qualifications Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset High attention to detail and commitment to quality work Dedication to providing excellent guest service Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb for extended periods Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Capable of lifting and transporting tools and maintenance materials If you take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a collaborative hospitality environment, we encourage you to apply and grow your career with us.
