We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain our clubhouse, facilities, and equipment to the highest standards. What You'll Do As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities by: Performing general repairs and maintenance on plumbing, furniture, woodwork, appliances, electrical systems, and building structures Maintaining HVAC systems, refrigerators, ice makers, ventilation systems, and pool pumps Monitoring pool filtration and chlorination systems and maintaining water testing logs Completing preventive maintenance tasks according to established procedures Installing and repairing tile, drywall, grout, brick, and other building materials Repairing small motors and mechanical equipment Responding to maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner Participating in departmental staff meetings and trainings Assisting with emergency response and facility-related urgent needs Completing additional duties assigned by the Facilities Manager Why Join Lake Quivira? What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Post-secondary vocational/technical training in electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, or related field preferred Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a business or institutional setting preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building repair Familiarity with power tools and maintenance equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance priorities Knowledge of emergency maintenance procedures preferred Must be eligible to work in the United States
