Maintenance Technician

Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to fill openings with a local Manufacturing company in Shannon, MS.

Job Summary:

Install, program, troubleshoot and repair robots and related equipment by applying knowledge and utilizing tools and resources

Required Education & Experience:

High School Diploma / GED Associate degree in robotics technology or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

Essential Functions/Competency Level:

Computer proficiency, including Microsoft office. Knowledge of customer specific requirements Plc and robotic programming knowledge and ability Must have knowledge of the English language The employee must maintain an excellent attendance record, which is defined as being at work all the time and on time Ability to read and follow work instructions Ability to apply understanding of details but simple written or oral instructions Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in different situations Review work order and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to determine tasks to be performed and tools, equipment and parts needed for installation of repair assignment Inspect installation site to verify that electrical supply wires, conduit, switches, and circuit breakers are installed according to specifications Position and secure robot and related equipment to floor with assistance from maintenance staff using crane, hand, and power tools and following manuals and blueprints Attach electrical wires to robot controller and programmable controller, and hydraulic power unit. Connect hoses between hydraulic power unit and robot as required by manufacturer installation instructions Verifies that electrical power is reaching robot, and that voltage is as specified using testing instruments

Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies, and procedures. Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the company
