Contract / As-Needed (Flexible Hours) CEPCO Management Inc. is a family-owned property management company overseeing apartment and townhome communities throughout Minnesota. We take pride in maintaining safe, high-quality living environments for our residents and are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support our team on a contract, as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities Complete a variety of work orders, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, drywall, painting, appliances, and general maintenance Perform routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs Assist Site Managers with coordinating and overseeing third-party contractors Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe work environment Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests Support unit turnovers, including repairs, painting, and general preparation Be available for occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance calls Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relations Qualifications Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance systems Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic leadership skills and ability to supervise vendors or assistants when needed Proficiency in English (written and verbal) Must be able to pass a background check Additional Information Flexible, as-needed scheduling based on workload and property needs Work is performed on-site at various property locations Opportunity for ongoing contract work based on performance and availability
